    hello Dear,

    thank u very much for your guidance through this topic.and your explanation is the best that i ever seen like in web as a hole...i followed your instructions but i faced one problem at the last step<binding>..when i finished the mac prombted me that unknown error have occured and the binding failed.you have to know that my network provide sharing with Mac 10.4 clients and my XP proffessional clients..and it work proberly,but i want to join mac clients to my 2000 AD...

    Hi there, When I see errors like that, it typically comes down to a couple of things

    - unable to communicate with the DC properly

     - Can you mount a network share from the DC from the Mac via Finder?

     - Are DNS settings correct?

     - Does the account you're using have the rights to join clients to the domain?
